Finally looked it up in a bit more detail, and I'm really impressed. It seems like the New School approach extended logically. On one hand, it's a shame that they don't give out "real" credits, but on the other the fact that such a school can continue to exist and receive students while not giving out official credits is pretty impressive--after all, true education should have nothing to do with grades (he said while enrolled in a "real" university...). If I ever find myself in Toronto for any period of time, I'll check it out in person. Wonder if anyone's doing anything like that here, outside of Dawson's New School...
